These instructions will help you preview and/or demonstrate the major features of the Interactive Watersheds Community Networking web sites on the Internet.

If you follow our directions below, this whole demonstration should only take you about 30 minutes to an hour. You can also select any one or more of the 8 sections below and your time will be much shorter.

You may also want to follow the same directions if you want to show the project to other interested people. You may wish to print these pages for reference as you proceed through the following preview and demonstration material. You can also keep this document open on your screen to access the hyperlinks at the same time you are using your Internet browser.

Please note that if you decide to explore additional links you find interesting, besides the ones noted below, it would take you more time. For example, there is a wealth of interactive multimedia material on each of the five Interactive Watersheds represented in this Internet networking web site project.   Without these directions it might take you several hours to find the special items we will highlight below.  Also on these web sites   you will see supplemental links that go to external web sites.  This demonstration does not direct you to use these external links.

Also, you will find many of the web pages, especially those that contain audio/video sequences will load much slower if you are using a dial up modem.  If you access the web site from a modem you will experience delays loading these files according to how fast your Internet access speed might be.  Whenever an audio/video sequence is available there is a text description and a few images to describe the video as one option.  A second option is a small file size and window that will take time to download, but will play on a dial up modem. A third option is a much larger and higher quality QuickTime window, which will require a cable, DSL, or cable modem to download and play. Please note that you will need a recent version of the QuickTime player and this is available to download on many of the demonstration web pages.

This demonstration will be organized in eight (8) different parts.  For your convenience we have outlined those sections below.  For a shorter demonstration you might want to choose one of the sections before another.  However, we believe you will be better able to get a picture of the full scope of the Interactive Watersheds project and the Upper Sevier web site if you follow the steps in the order they are provided.
