A GigaPan is a large (gigapixel) composite image. Typically, dozens, hundreds or thousands of photographs can be taken with a telephoto lens at one time and "stitched" together to create a single image. This GigaPan image can be interactively browsed and users can zoom in to find details not noticeable when viewing the full GigaPan image.
Please view our Gigapan Gallery which now has over 50 GigaPans from locations in Alaska, Canada, and the western states including Yellowstone National Park and Teton National Park. Note that these GigaPans can be viewed in Google Earth where they have been geographically located and correctly oriented to the terrain landscape.
