45 Ranch on the South Fork of the Owyhee River
| The Nature Conservancy are new owners of the 45 Ranch in the remote Owyhee desert. One of their major goals in purchasing this land is to protect desert bighorn sheep which frequent this area. | They will also continue to graze the additional 68,000 acre cattle allotment. They intend to cooperate with the Bureau of Land Management grazing reductions and are interested in forming partnerships with their neighbors to lessen the impact of grazing reductions on them. |
